Dressed down in a yellow Velvet Underground t-shirt and jeans, Nikki Reed was spotted out and about in West Hollywood on St Patrick’s Day (March 17).

The young “Twilight” star visited a shop on La Cienga Boulevard before heading to Whole Foods for a bite to eat for lunch with a few of her pals.

Miss Reed spent the previous evening out supporting her “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart at the premiere of “Adventureland”.

Also a strong supporter of co-star Taylor Lautner, Miss Reed recently spoke about how tense it was waiting to see if Taylor would be re-cast in “New Moon”.

She tells, “We were all on edge. It got closer and closer, and it was heartbreaking. Kristen [Stewart] and I were in Africa when we got the call saying he got the part. She’s so stoked.”

Continuing on, Nikki added, “I don’t know if I would have had the confidence to do that, and be told ‘no’ if it didn’t work out. He just went in there and said, ‘I’m going to do the best that I can.’ And it paid off. I’m so happy for him.”

Nikki and Kat Dennings showed some support  for their  friend, and costar Kristen Davis while attending the  premiere of Kristen’s new comedy, ‘Adventureland’.  The premiere, also starring Ryan Reynolds, was held in Los Angeles, on Monday (March 16) night.

Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie Hale in the upcoming Twilight New Moon told People.com that the film is being shot back to back with the upcoming ECLIPSE and that they just got a script. They will apparently start shooting in Vancouver this month. This makes sense since Robert Pattinson has been spotted in Vancouver.

Nikki Reed recently caught up with MTV to dish about the much-anticipated Twilight sequel, New Moon.

The 20-year-old actress shared with the music channel on why she’s not dyeing her hair back to blonde and the overall styles of the Cullen family. Check it:

On opting for a blonde wig: “My hair fell out. It took 36 hours initially to make me blond, and every other day, I was bleaching my head and my skin. This time around, we are testing out different wigs and stuff. I know how upset everyone is going to be, but [my devotion to Rosalie] is why I did it initially.”

On the hairstyles of the Cullen clan: “I think we are just perfecting it. I think it will be a little bit different, and we’ll perfect it for the best. We weren’t expecting all the weather issues and all the makeup we had to put on. Every single character [had a hard time]. I know a lot of people think it was just me that changed how I looked physically, but Peter Facinelli has black hair, and he has to go back blond [for New Moon]. And Kellan Lutz, who is a natural blond, has to go back to dark hair.”

New Moon is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada.

For months, millions have been awaiting the release of Stephenie Meyer’s romance Twilight onto DVD. The official DVD release date was set at March 21, 2009. In fact, I already have my copy reserved on Amazon. Twilight fans won’t have to wait that long though.

Summit Entertainment just announced a release party called “Twilight at Midnight” which will go from 10pm to 12 midnight on the evening of March 20, 2009. Summit knows Twilight has a lot of high school followers that wouldn’t be able to do a midnight party on Monday the 23rd due to the school week, so they’ve moved up the promotional party by three days! That way, it can be a Twilight party weekend! You see, normally new DVDs get released every Tuesday but Twilight likes to do things differently. So even though the March 21st release date isn’t new, the reasoning behind it is.
